NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Roll Call

Open Forum
 
3.
Approval of Consent Agenda
 
4.
A. Submittal and presentation of the Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 Financial Audit Report for 2009. 

B.  Request approval to rescind action from April 27, 2010 item 6c relating to DHS 0-6BC Payment Request No. 18.

C.  Request approval of Cooperative Agreement DHS-CBP-08-112-001 Amendment 004 between Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 and Department of Homeland Security.

D.  Authorization to release an additional 25% retainage from DHS Segment 0-7 on the Contract with SER Construction Partners, LTD.
 
E.  Authorization to release additional retainage on the Contracts with Ballenger Construction Company on the following DHS Segments:

1. DHS Segment 0-4A
2. DHS Segment 0-4C
3. DHS Segment 0-5
4. DHS Segment 0-6A
 
5.
Discussion and possible action on a Resolution authorizing the Resale of Foreclosed Real Estate Properties for failure to pay ad valorem taxes.
 
6.
Approval of Transfer of Easement from Hidalgo County Drainage District #1 to City of McAllen. Tract containing 1.01acres out of the Northwest corner of Lot 11, Block 13, Hidalgo Canal Co. Subd; said tract being 200.0' east and west and 220.0'north and south of 0.58 acres is presently used as drainage ROW, leaving 0.43 acres net RE: North Main Drain Vol/1672 page269-271
 
7.
Request approval of Change Order No. 26 on the Contract with SER Construction Partners, LTD. for the Construction of Levee DHS 0-7. Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrence.

Board of Directors may go into Closed Session pursuant to Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071 & 551.072 to discuss the following:
