NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a REGULAR MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Roll Call

Open Forum
 
3.
Approval of Consent Agenda
 
4.
Request approval of Change Order No. 28 on the Contract with SER Construction Partners, LTD. for the Construction of Levee DHS 0-7. Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrence.
 
5.
Consideration, discussion and applicable action including, but not limited to the following: 

Pursuant to the Texas Natural Resources Code Chapter 71, Lease of Land for Mineral Development, Sub-Chapter A:

1.) Article 71.004-Public Notice and Hearing to consider "Lease of Land for Mineral Development" the following described parcel of land; property owned by the Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 as described as:

First Tract:
18.05 acres more or less, out of Lots 3 and 4, Ebony Groves Subdivision, Hidalgo County Texas, said 18.05 acre tract being more particularly described in warranty Deed from W. E. Richey, Trustee, to Hidalgo County, Texas, dated may 13, 1935, recorded in volume 403, Page 133, Deed Records, Hidalgo County, Texas. 

Second Tract:
1.54 acres out of Lot 8, A. Wayne Wood # 1, Hidalgo County, Texas, described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:  Beginning at the northeast corner of said Block No. 8; Thence along the east line of said Block No. 8 and along the east line of said Agostadero del Gato Grant, South 8 deg. 43 min. West, 266.3 feet; Thence North 49 deg. 52 min. West, 321.7 feet ; Thence North 80 deg. 58 min. West, 165.8 feet; Thence North 9 deg. 02 min. East, 100.0 feet to a point on the north line of said Block No. 8; Thence along said north line, South 80 deg. 58 min. East, 440.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.54 acres, more or less. 

2.) Under Article 71.005- Requesting authority to Publish "Notice of Intention by Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 to Lease Land for Mineral Development" more particularly the property referenced and described in the item above and herein.

A. Request approval of payment of claims to Dannenbaum Engineering-McAllen for additional fee for Site Representation (Inspection Services) during the Extended Contract Period on the following DHS Segments:

3. DHS Segment 0-5                     Invoice No. 441001/24/XV

B. Request approval to process manual checks to Dannenbaum Engineering-McAllen for the above mentioned projects pending the approval of County Auditor, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the electronic transfer of funds from the Department of Payment Management (DPM).
