A.
Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Alton, is requesting authority to purchase Fire Station Equipment (wild land fire fighting bunker gear) for the Alton Volunteer Fire Department.  Purchase will be made from Daco (contract # FS12-09) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with HGAC.  The total amount of the wild land bunker gear is $39,873.00 which includes shipping fees (quote attached) for the City of Alton Fire Department, utilizing FY's 20, 22, and 23 (2007, 2009, and 2010) Fire Station/Equipment line item.
 
B.
The City of San Juan requests approval from Hidalgo County Commissioner's Court to reject all bids submitted and re-advertise for the UCP YR 22 (2009) City of San Juan Public Facilities Improvements project consisting of the construction of the San Juan Public Library.
 
C.
Urban County Program on behalf of Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 is requesting authority to purchase Fire Hydrants for the City of Edcouch through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with TXMAS, approved vendor Grainger, Inc. (contract #TXMAS #2-539030) in the amount of $29,261.70 (quote attached hereto).  Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 UCP Years 20, 21 & 22- 2007-2008- 2009) Water/Sewer Improvements funds will be utilized.
 
D.
Urban County Program on behalf of Hidalgo County Precinct No. 4, is requesting authority to purchase Fire Station Equipment (scene lighting and wild land fire fighting bunker gear) for the Linn/San Manuel Volunteer Fire Department.  Purchase will be made from Dooley Tackaberry, Inc. (contract # 284-08) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with Buy Board.  The total amount for the purchase is $20,385.35 (quotes attached), as requested by the Hidalgo County Precinct No. 4 for the Linn/San Manuel Volunteer Fire Department utilizing UCP FY 22 (2009) Fire Station/Equipment line item.
