While the main applicant for this grant will be the International Valley Health Institute, Hidalgo County will participate with an element of the grant's components by proposing to enhance the existing walking trails in Precincts 2 and 4 and create walking trails in Precincts 1 and 3. All locations have been determined by each Commissioner and Precinct staff and are at Precinct parks and / or Community Resource Centers. The total amount of grant allocation for these projects is estimated at $1,333.850.00.
