Urban County Program is requesting an eighty (80) day contract extension with ASAGO Construction for the construction of sewer improvements in Colonia De Anda & Saenz in Pct. # 1 under the TDRA Colonia Construction Grant # 729055.
 
B.
Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) contract with Advocacy Resource Center for Housing (ARCH) and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment would increase the current contract amount of $949,768.87 by $106,969.88. The amended contract amount for ARCH will be $ 1,056,738.75. The amendment will increase the Rapid Re-Housing category.
 
C.
Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Alamo is requesting consideration and action to award and issue a purchase order to Upper Valley Material, LLC (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for the Street Improvements project in the amount of $40,401.00 utilizing Year 23 (2010) Alamo Street Improvement funds for the purchase and delivery of hotmix materials.
 
D.
Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) Interlocal Agreement with the City of Edinburg and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment will increase funds from the original contract amount of $75,000 to $152,500.
 
E.
The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Alton is requesting approval and award of best and final negotiated contract with Terracon Consultants, Inc. in the amount of $15,100.00 utilizing CDBG Year 22 & 23 (2009 & 2010) Street Improvements funds.
 
F.
Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) Interlocal Agreement with the City of Mission and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment will increase funds from the original contract amount of $75,000 to $202,500. The amendment will also include funding under the Rapid Re-Housing Program category.
 
G.
The Urban County Program is requesting the award of bids and approval of contracts for the demolition and reconstruction of the following:

(2) units in the City of Weslaco and (2) units in the Countywide area in the amount of $184,597.00 to Benchmark Construction.

(1) unit in the City of Mercedes in the amount of $38,740.00 to G&G Contractors.
 
H.
The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract with R. Gutierrez Engineering Corporation in the amount of $122,490.00 utilizing Precinct No. 2 matching funds for the proposed Flood Drainage Improvement Project known as the "Minnesota Drain" under the Texas General Land Office Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043 (formerly TDRA Contract No. DRS010068).

Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 2 is requesting authority to purchase fourteen (14) computers for the City of San Juan Public Library.  Purchase will be made from Dell (contract # DIR-SDD-890-TX) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with TPPS-DIR.  The total amount of computer equipment is $12,129.46 (quote attached) for the City of San Juan Public Library funded thru FY 23 (2010) Precinct No. 2 Neighborhood Facilities line item.

 
J.
The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract with Guzman & Munoz Engineering & Surveying, Inc. in the amount of $14,200.00 utilizing Years 19, 20 & 22 (2006, 2007 & 2009) Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 (Edcouch) funds for professional engineering services for the Water/Sewer Improvements at the Edcouch Water Treatment Plant.
 
K.
Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 2 is requesting authority to purchase library furniture for the City of San Juan Public Library.  Purchase will be made from Teknion C/O Workspace Solutions (contract # TXMAS 3-7110570) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with TXMAS.  The total amount of the library furniture is $87,825.30 (quote attached) for the City of San Juan Public Library funded thru FY 23 (2010) Precinct No. 2 Neighborhood Facilities line item.
