Budget & Management - Valde Guerra:

1. Discussion consideration and action to approve the 2007 budget at department level. Intra-department, Inter-department and Inter-fund transfers will continue to require
Commissioner's Court approval.

Discussion consideration and action to designate and authorize the Budget Officer to amend the budget by transferring amounts budgeted for certain items to other budgeted items, as necessary for County operations, with monthly reports to Commissioner's Court as per Texas Local Government Code 111.070c(2).
3. Discussion consideration and action to approve the 2007 General Fund salary schedule, to set 2007 General Fund salaries, and to budget fifty (50) contingency slots to be funded from contingency or other lapsed funds as per Texas Local Government code section 152.011. Salaries are effective on the first full pay period of 2007.
4. Discussion consideration and action to approve Poll Workers and temporary positions, as required by the Elections Dept. to conduct elections, to be funded from budgeted or other lapsed funds.
5. Approval to adjust the Workers' Compensation rates in 2007 for all departments as per the recently completed actuarial report. Rates will decrease approximately 20.6% from 2006.
