Approval of the resolution, receipt agreement, affidavit and declaration of surplus pursuant to the statute regarding the retirement of Fire Marshal Accelerant Detection K-9 "SHARK" for Medically Required Reasons. With approval for K-9 Handler Chief Deputy Fire Marshal Wesley D. Bradley, to keep and house (Transfer of Ownership) K-9 "SHARK" after removed from Fire Marshal's Office Service.

A.
1. Urban County Program is requesting consideration and approval of the following:
a. A Construction Contract Change Order Request No. 2 for the General Land Office (GLO) Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043 (formerly TDRA DRS010068), Pct. 1 Delta Outfall Drainage System Improvements Project. The Change Order will increase the construction contract amount of $815,512.80 to $890,037.80 for a total increase of $74,525.00 to the construction service contract currently awarded to Tropical Construction, LLC. , and
b. Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Engineering Service contract with Dos Logistics, Inc. The Amendment will increase the contract amount of $168,551.25 by $15,840.00 for a total amount of $184,391.25 to be utilized for additional costs associated w/ Change Order No. 2.
2. Consideration and approval to authorize the County Judge to sign any and all documents associated with Change Orders and/or Amendments pertaining to GLO Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043.

The UCP on behalf of Hidalgo County Pct. No. 1 is requesting the approval of Amendment No. 1 to the existing engineering contract for Texas Department of Agriculture Contract #729055 (Colonias De Anda and Saenz) and approval of additional engineering services for additional sanitary sewer service lines with Guzman & Munoz Engineering and Surveying, Inc. in the amount of $12,108.00. Precinct 1 CDBG Year 22 (2009-Water/Sewer Improvements) funding shall be utilized.
