Urban County - Diana Serna:
A.
Presentation and approval of a Proclamation declaring April 8th through April 14th, 2011, as CDBG week.

Urban County Program on behalf of Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 and the City of Weslaco, is requesting authority to purchase Fire Station/Equipment (800 gallon skid unit) for the Weslaco Fire Department. Purchase will be made from Daco Fire Equipment (contract # FS12-011) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with H-GAC. The total amount for the purchase is $23,745.52 (quote attached), as requested by the Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 for the Weslaco Fire Department utilizing UCP FY 23 (2010) Fire Station/Equipment line item.

The Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 4 is requesting approval and award of best and final negotiated contract with LeFevre Environmental & Management Consulting, LLC in the amount of $44,000.00 utilizing Precinct No. 4 CDBG Funds for the 2011-2012 Colonia Construction Contract No. 711245 - Sewer Improvements and Rehabilitation Single-Unit Sewer Services under the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program.

Requesting approval of Resolution to Adopt the Section 3 Plan to comply with 24 CFR, Part 135 of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Edcouch and Precinct No. 1 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Jimmy Closner & Sons Construction Co., Inc. for the Street & Drainage Improvements Project located in the City of Edcouch. Total contract amount $198,827.50 utilizing City of Edcouch YR 22 (2009) street improvements and Precinct No. 1 YR 22 (2009) street improvements recaptured funds.

1. Urban County Program is requesting consideration and approval to modify the Construction Contract Change Order Request No. 2 previously submitted to the General Land Office (GLO) Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043 (formerly TDRA DRS010068), regarding the Pct. 1 Delta Outfall Drainage System Improvements Project. The Change Order will increase the number of calendar days allotted in the construction service contract awarded to Tropical Construction, LLC. , by sixty (60) days for a total of 194 days.
