Requesting authorization for Hidalgo County Health & Human Services Dept. to collaborate with the University of Texas – Pan American – College of Health Science and Human Services for the purpose of establishing a model of healthcare that will teach an inter-professional team approach in managing healthcare problems for the poor and underserved as proposed in their grant application to U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. While the main applicant for this grant will be UT-Pan Am, Hidalgo County Health & Human Services Dept. will participate through a Memorandum of Agreement. Hidalgo County's role would be to provide access to county clinics and patients.

B.  Recommendation by project architect, Dannenbaum to award lowest bid received in connection with: Additions and Renovations to the WIC Clinic/Offices located at 3105 E. Richardson, Edinburg, Texas-RFB #2012-021-02-29-MSS; OR,

C. As requested by WIC Program Director, Ms. Norma Longoria, recommendation to reject all bids received for Hidalgo County W.I.C.
