The total amount for the purchase is $76,035.00 (quote attached), utilizing UCP FY 24 (2011) Pct. 1 Fire Station/Equipment line item and City of Edcouch general funds.

Urban County Program on behalf of Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 and the City of Mercedes, is requesting authority to purchase Fire Station/Equipment (bunker gear) for the Mercedes Volunteer Fire Department. Purchase will be made from Casco Industries, Inc. (contract #363-10) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with Buyboard. The total amount for the purchase is $35,664.59 (quote attached), as requested by the Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 for the Mercedes Volunteer Fire Department utilizing UCP FY 18 (2005) Pct. 1 Fire Station/Equipment line item and City of Mercedes general funds.

Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Weslaco is requesting acceptance and approval to award the best valued proposal received from Alpha Building Corporation a job order contractor (an approved contract partner through HCDE-Choice Facility Partners) for the construction of bathroom facilities at La Placita Park. The total cost is $71,300.81 utilizing UCP FYs 23 & 24 (2010 & 2011) Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements line item and City of Weslaco general funds.

Urban County Program for Hidalgo County Precinct No. 4 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into construction contract with The 5125 Company for base bid, Alternate No.'s 1-7 and 9. Total amount of contract is $427,144.45 for a HUD CDBG-R Fike Pump Structure utilizing FY 22 (2009) CDBG-R flood drainage improvements and FY 23 (2010) flood drainage improvements.

Requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of Edcouch to its Urban County Program FY 22 & 24 (2009 & 2011) work plans. The amendment will delete the Planning activity and create a Water/Sewer Improvements activity and allocate $27,000.00 for FY 22 (2009); will decrease the Side Walks activity by $57,481.00 and create a Flood Drainage Improvements activity and allocate $57,481.00 for FY 24 (2011).

Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) contract with Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley (CCRGV) and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment will not change the current budget, but will allow us to move funds within the current budget for Rapid Re-Housing. This will help Catholic Charities to assist additional families with financial assistance (i.e. rent, utilities, deposit).
