Urban County - Diana Serna:
A.
The City of La Villa and Urban County Program are requesting authorization to cancel an existing contract with Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $8,041.00 for the 2011 Water/Sewer Improvements project which consisted of various upgrades to the water treatment plant. Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. representative has asked for termination of their contract, due to unforeseen circumstances.
B.
Requesting authorization to amend the Emergency Solutions Grants Program "ESG" contract with Advocacy Resource Center for Housing, Inc. (ARCH) and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program approved on July 5, 2011. ARCH was initially granted funds in the amount of $58,657.00 for both Homeless Prevention activities and Essential Services. The amendment will increase the original amount by $94,705.75. The amended contract amount for ARCH will be $153,362.75. The amendment now includes the new activities under Homeless Prevention & Rapid Re-Housing, Housing Relocation & Stabilization Services, Data Collections (HMIS) and Administration.
