The City of Edcouch and Urban County Program are requesting authorization to cancel an existing contract with Guzman & Muñoz Engineering and Surveying, Inc. in the amount of $12,519.00 for the 2011 Side Walks project. The City was unable to attain easements for the construction of the sidewalks and decided to cancel the project. Urban County Program has received reimbursement from the City of Edcouch for the work completed and paid to the engineer.

Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 1 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Metro Electric, Inc. for a street improvement (solar lights) project located within Precinct 1 area. Total contract amount $81,084.00 utilizing Precinct No. 1 YR 24 (2011) street improvements (solar lights) funds.

Construction, Co., LLC for a "New Multipurpose Facility and Mechanical Shop" to be built on site at Precinct #4 property in the amount of $770K and proceed to the contract document phase of the procurement process; and, if necessary,

Authority to reject all proposals received and/ or ranked and cancel the project as titled so as to modify and include as a component for constructing a multi-purpose concept facility on Pct. #4 property (as other precincts) that provide space for other elected offices, departments, programs, agencies, etc. (i.e. District Clerk Document Storage, Constable Offices, Pct. Adm., J.P.s, etc.) for which funding is to be sought and secured.
b.
