NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers, 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Approval of Consent Agenda

A. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under Texas Local Government Code, Section 262.024(a)(4) "Professional Services" for the provision of Engineering Services in connection with the repair and re-construction of "Main Floodwater Channel Weir No.2, Willacy County, Texas.
B. Pursuant to the Boards approval requesting authority to issue sixty (60) day contract to S&B Infrastructure, LTD. for the provision of Engineering Services in connection with the repair and re-construction of "Main Floodwater Channel Weir No. 2, Willacy County, Texas as previously approved on April 10, 2012 (DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY) Agenda Item No. 31762 (C).
C. Requesting approval to utilize the District's option to extend Service Contract No. 11-002-01-25 "Pit Run Caliche" an additional sixty (60) days under same rates, terms and conditions so as to have no lapse in service during the Bidding Process.
B. Request approval of Settlement Statement for acquiring Right of Way from Gisela Potts, et al-Parcel #1 for the Raymondville Drain Project, property being 13.44 acre tract of land out of lots 35, 36 and 37 Seminary Heights in Hidalgo County. And approval for the issuing of a manual check.
