NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Commissioners' Court has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Commissioner, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The remaining items will be adopted by one vote.

1.  Tax Office: Requesting authority to enter into a 12-month maintenance agreement with (CTCR) Cole's The Cash Register Co. for the Tax Office including payment of invoice number 203187 through requisition #244969 for the amount $999.99 year. Company agrees to terms and conditions set fourth by Hidalgo County. Effective upon approval.

2. Acceptance and approval of the continuation of the annual maintenance services renewals through the life term of the item by Tax Office Department including the signing of required documents by County Judge or Court Member.
 
B.
Requesting authority to advertise and approval of procurement packet (i.e. specifications/requirements, legal notice, draft requirement agreement etc.) as attached hereto for: Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department- "Funeral and Burial Services for Hidalgo County Qualified Indigent Families" RFB No.: 2014-008-00-00-SGS. Including the re-advertising of project in the event No Bids responses are received and/or rejected and project is still required.
 
C.
1.  Rescind prior action taken on 2-05-2013 AI 36710 due to amendment of agreement; and

2.  Acceptance and approval of amended agreement (document approved by legal) for monitoring services for Las Milpas WIC Clinic with ASG Security for the duration of term for the agreement including the continuation of services through the life term of the equipment in place by user department with the authority to execute and signing of agreement by County Judge, Court Member. 
 
D.
Acceptance and approval of request for payment of Invoice #1102707-16 in the amount of $27,142.87 submitted by CAS Companies in connection with the "Hidalgo County Morgue Renovation" Project amid PO#663746 with authority for County Treasurer to issue payment after review, audit, and processing procedures are completed by County Auditor.

Acceptance and approval of agreements monitoring services with ASG Security for the duration of term as stated on 2C of agreements including the continuation of services through the life term of the monitoring equipment in place by user department with the authority to execute and signing of agreements by County Judge, Court Member for the following WIC Clinics:

F.
1.  Acceptance and approval for the continuation of the Symantec Backup License support services including agreement as reviewed and approved by legal with Reyna Enterprises Inc. dba CRC through the life term of the program/equipment/software/hardware/maintenance/support services/upgrading/purchases of appurtenances  in place by office/department user; and

2.  Pursuant to the aforementioned, approval to pay in the amount of $1,095.40 for the continuation of one year services thru assigned requisition #247260 including the signing of required documents by County Judge, Court Member.

Requesting authority to advertise and approval of procurement packet (i.e. specifications-requirements, legal notice, draft contract etc.) as attached hereto for: "Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office-Legend & Non-Legend Pharmaceuticals Bid No. 2013-145-SMA including the re-advertising of project in the event no bids received and/or rejection of responses received and project is still required.

1.  Requesting approval of payment for Invoice #2964-13 ($ 66,628.00) submitted by MATA-GARCIA, ARCHITECTS, LLP, in connection to the AIA Agreement #C-13-072-09-03 (PO#700944) for JOB SPECIFIC: The New Community Recourse Center (CRC) Facility/Building in San Carlos. Texas located within Hidalgo County Precinct No. 4".

2.  Requesting approval of payment for Invoice #2975-13 ($ 1,927.23) submitted by MATA-GARCIA, ARCHITECTS, LLP, in connection to the AIA Agreement #C-13-072-09-03 (PO#700944) for JOB SPECIFIC: The New Community Recourse Center (CRC) Facility/Building in San Carlos. Texas located within Hidalgo County Precinct No. 4".
 
I.
Requesting approval of the additional one (1) year extensions/renewals for agreements (set forth below) for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office, under the same rates, terms and conditions;

a. SOUTHERN TIRE MART, LLC- PURCHASE OF TIRES - Including Installation and other Related Services (Including all other HC Law Enforcement Agencies) in connection to Contract# E-12-299-12-04 (C-11-193-12-06), effective 12/06/13.

b. L.V. MOBILE IMAGING, LLC - MOBILE X-RAY SERVICES (on an as needed basis) - in connection to Contract # C-12-175-11-13, effective 01/01/14

c. GREENWICH, INC. d/b/a COMMERCIAL KITCHEN PARTS & SERVICES - Maintenance & Repair of Kitchen Equipment and Appliances (on an as needed basis) in connection to Contract# C-12-186A-12-18, effective 01/01/14.
