NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a WORKSHOP of the Commissioners' Court will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion relating to the following business will be transacted:

Roll Call
2.
Discussion of 80th Texas Legislative Session Priorities
3.
Discussion of Federal Legislative Priorities
4.
Discussion of Commissioners' Court Agenda for 4/17/07 (as posted on 4/11/07)
5.
Discussion of status of infrastructure at Kmart Building - Renan Ramirez
6.
Purchasing Department - Marty Salazar:
A. Presentation by project architect (ROFA, Architects) and/or project contractor (Joe Williams Construction) on current status of renovations, including, but not limited to, the following:
1) Anticipated date for submission of Certificate of Substantial Completion (including any approved change orders or construction change directives);
2) Concerns by the IT Department in connection with infrastructure and as further detailed and described via e-mails and as attached hereto;
B. Discussion with currently ranked/selected project architect AGADC (contract to be considered for approval on CC of 4-17-07) as to the general concept and prelimary design with direction as to square footage requirements (presently occupied or requested) for the relocation, including, but not limited to, Hidalgo County Commissioners Courtroom facilities; Hidalgo County Judge's offices; Department of Human Resources, IT Department; Other applicable departments for the design and construction of a building to be located directly west and/or adjacent at the County owned property formerly known as the K-mart Building
