NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551.045 (b)(1) (media has been contacted), Texas Government Code, that an EMERGENCY MEETING DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER AND TORRENTIAL RAINS POSING AN IMMINENT THREAT TO PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY, a meeting of the Commissioners' Court will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers, 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Presentation by EMC and/or Precincts for discussion, consideration, and applicable/necessary action in connection with the most recent issuance (by the County Judge) of a Declaration of Disaster due to the torrential rain events in April-May 2015 causing widespread flooding and damage with details of necessary efforts and measures:
1) to promptly relieve the necessity of the citizens or to preserve the property of the county; and/or
2) preserve or protect the public health or safety of the residents of the county; and/or,
3) an item necessary because of unforeseen damage to property;
A. contracting of vacuum trucks
B. rental of equipment (pumps/hoses)
C. engagement of Ashbritt through City of Kingsville Mutual Aid Agreement and Tetra Tech if applicable
1) to promptly relieve the necessity of the citizens or to preserve the property of the county; and/or
