NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:
A. Roll Call and Establish Quorum
B. Approval of Board Minutes March 10, 2016
C. Discussion and possible action to accept results of March 19, 2016 elections for Low Income Representatives for Districts One, Districts Two and Three.
D. Review of the Community Action Code of Ethics.
E. Discussion and possible action regarding the status of one Private Organization Representative with regards to the Community Action Advisory Board by-laws Article VII, Section 1.
F. Discussion and possible action to recommend acceptance of TDHCA CSBG Contract #61160002386 in the amount of $847,932.00 effective February 1, 2016.
G. Discussion and possible action to ratify adoption of MOU with HHSC – Community partnership Program presented to Commissioners Court on March 22, 2016.
H. Discussion and possible action recommend adoption of a vendor agreement with Texas Gas Service to provide energy assistance programs to qualified customers.
I. Discussion and possible action to recommend adoption of the proposed Conflict of Interest Policy.
J. Discussion and possible action to recommend adoption of proposed Whistleblower Policy.
