NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:
I. Roll Call and Establish Quorum
II. Approval of Board Minutes
III. Discussion and Possible action regarding selection of Board Member to serve as Private Organization Representative
A. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Board Member Selection Subcommittee to serve as Private Organization Representative - Ms. Elaine Hernandez, McAllen Rotary North
B. Vote to accept other nominee from the Board to serve as Private Organization Representative
III. Discussion and possible action to ratify decision to apply for and submit budget for 2016 CSBG D funding in the amount of $12,000
IV. Authorization to limit the number of CEAP applicants to twenty (20) per day and to designate Fridays as "future month" workdays beginning the week of August 29, 2016.
V. Update on Community Action Partnership National Conference to be held August 29-September 2, 2016.
VI. Discussion and possible action to recommend budget amendment for the PY 2016 CSBG Contract
VII. Discussion and possible action regarding the development of the PY 2017 Community Action Plan in compliance with CSBG Program Requirements
