NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

  1. Roll call and establish quorum
 
  1. Presentation and possible approval of Board Minutes for meeting of May 25, 2018. 
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding the selection of Low Income Representative for District #3.
  1. Certification of Results of Election May 26, 2018.
  2. Selection of tie breaker method to be utilized.
  3. Utilization of tie breaker method to break tie.
  4. Certification of the results of the tie breaker.
  5. Seating of the Low Income Representative for District #3.
 
  1. Ratify action of Commissioners Court on June 19, 2018 for amendment to the FY 2017 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) contract # 61170002636 with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, with authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.
 
  1. Ratify action of Commissioners Court on June 19, 2018 for amendment to the FY 2018 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) contract # 61180002861 with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, with authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.
 
  1. Ratify action of Commissioners Court on June 19, 2018 for amendment to the FY 2018 Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) contract # 58180002784 with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, with authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.
 
  1. Recognition of services provided by Harold Requenez Low Income Representative for District #3.
 
  1. Executive Director's Report
  1. Present client survey results for May 2018.
  2. Provide board members programmatic reports for the month of May 2018 for current programs.
  3. Presentation of the 2018 Community Needs Assessment
  4. Financial Report
