NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551.045(b)(1), (Media has been contacted), Texas Government Code, that an EMERGENCY MEETING (an urgent public necessity exists and immediate action is requested due to recent flooding in Hidalgo County) of the Commissioners' Court will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

1. Presentation by Precinct(s) on the status of County Property and/or Health & Safety Issues due to the recent and current torrential rains;
2. Approval of an "Emergency Declaration" due to torrential rains for the following Precinct(s);

3. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 262, Section .024 (a) (1)(2)(3) and the granting of the "Order";
4. Requesting approval of a contract(s) with the following vendor(s) _____________________ in order to address and relieve the immediate emergencies due to the current and recent torrential rains;
