NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:
I. Roll call and establish quorum
II. Presentation and possible approval of Board Minutes for meeting of June 22, 2018.
III. Discussion, consideration and possible action to approve the updated By Laws.
IV. Presentation of 2019 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) Community Action Plan (CAP) and Budget.
A. Public hearing regarding the proposed 2019 CSBG CAP plan and budget.
B. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend approval of the 2019 (CSBG) (CAP) plan and budget.
V. Ratify action of Commissioners Court on July 17, 2018 for the adoption of the Cost Allocation Plan that details the methods and procedures Hidalgo County Community Service Agency will use to allocate costs to various programs, grants, contracts, and agreements.
VI. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding implementation of program rules for distribution of fans.
VII. Recognition of outgoing Advisory Board Member Harold Requenez, for his service to Hidalgo County Community Service Agency.
VIII. Executive Director's Report
A. Present client survey results for June and July 2018.
B. Provide board members programmatic reports for the month of June and July 2018 for current programs.
C. Financial Report
