NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

  1. Roll call and establish quorum
 
  1. Presentation and possible approval of Board Minutes for meeting of September 28, 2018. 
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend adoption of a policy to allow HCCSA Administrators, Executive Director, Manager of Operations, or acting designees the use of discretion in utilization of program funds to address the needs of clients with extenuating circumstances.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend the creation of Senior Corps Director position with HCCSA, with responsibilities over RSVP, Senior Corps and Foster Grandparent Programs.
 
  1. Recommend approval of Proposed Job Description
  2. Recommend approval of Organizational Chart
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend approval of the agreement between AARP and Senior Corp. for Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).
 
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend adoption of the updated 2019 CAP Plan Budget as per recommendation from TDHCA.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend approval of contract amendment for CEAP PY2018 contract # 58180002784 resulting in $105,346.00 additional funds
 
  1. Executive Director's Report
  1. Present client survey results for CSA for September 2018.
  2. Provide board members programmatic reports for the month of September 2018 for current programs.
  3. Provide National code of ethics training to advisory board members
  4. Fire prevention event to be hosted on Saturday October 27, 2018 in collaboration with Superior Health.
