NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

1. Roll call and establish quorum.
 
2. Presentation and possible approval of Board Minutes for meeting held on April 30, 2021.  

3. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend approval of the logo for the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency.  

4. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to accept Board Member, Dr. Elaine Hernandez, resignation from the Community Service Agency Advisory Board.
 
5. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to fill vacancies of elected officials: 

A. Representative of Low-Income Individuals and Families
B. Representative of Private Organization
 
6. Review, consideration, and possible action to accept the implementation of the Stand by Policy-Pending legal review. 

7. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to recommend acceptance of the 2021-2022 Texas Veterans Commission grant of $300,000 for Operation Bravo Zulu.   

8. Discussion, consideration, and ratification to amend the following signature documents Contract No., with the Health and Human Services Commission for the Senior Corps Grant Programs:  

A. HHS000871100011 by adding $316.48, to the Contract, resulting in a total not to exceed Contract amount of $35,352.47.
B. HHS000871100040 by adding $316.48, to the Contract, resulting in a total not to exceed Contract amount of $6,791.48.
C. HHS000871100030 by adding $316.48, to the Contract, resulting in a total not to exceed Contract amount of $5,792.48.

2. Authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.
 
9. Discussion, consideration, and ratification to accept the AmeriCorps Notice of Grant Award for year 2021-2022 as follows: 1. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in the amount of $84,251.00. 2. Authorization for Jaime Longoria to sign any and all pertinent documents. 

10. Discussion, consideration, and ratification to accept amendment No. 2 to the PY 2020 the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) and Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) Contract #61200003346 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, with authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.

Community Participation: The Advisory Board welcomes individuals or delegations who wish to participate in the meeting during any portion of the meeting or during Community Comments. Community members wishing to address the Board may sign up prior to the meeting with the Executive Secretary or designee by providing name and item number to be addressed.
