NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING of the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency will be held at the Community Service Agency, located at 2524 North Closner in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

  1. Presentation and possible approval of Board Minutes for meeting held on June 25, 2021.
 
  1. Update regarding the Urban County Rental Relief Program.
 
  1. Update regarding the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) contracted with Yardi Systems.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to accept the 2021 Community Needs Assessment.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to accept Board Member, Fatima Santiago resignation from the Community Service Agency Advisory Board.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to fill vacancies of elected officials:
 
  1. Representatives of Low-Income Individuals and Families
  2. Representatives of Private Interest Group
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to approve the Budget Amendment for the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) Disaster Relief Supplemental Funds Contract #61200003282 for the increased amount of $898,744 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affair, with authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.
 
  1. Authorization to extend the interdepartmental transfer from the County's General Fund to the Hidalgo County Community Service Agency to be utilized as operational funds to be reimbursed at 90 days after termination of Bravo Zulu Grant which Begins: 07/01/2021 Ends: 06/30/2022.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration and possible action to accept $300,000 grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans Assistance for Program Year 2021-2022 for Operation Bravo Zulu with authorization for Jaime Longoria to electronically sign any and all pertinent documents.
 
  1. Discussion, consideration, and possible ratification to submit Amendment No. 2 for the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) budget for the program year 2021.
