The Urban County Program is requesting that Commissioners' Court rescind action taken on December 18, 2007 (A1-7089) regarding the approval to enter into a lease agreement with H & V for the use of a Champion 710A Motorgrader and an Ingram AP-915 Pneumatic Roller for up to three months in the amount of $6,900.00 per month (NTE $20,700). The equipment would have been utilized for the Urban County Pct. 1 2006 (Year 19) & 2007 (Year 20) Street Improvements Project being undertaken as a force account project.

1) all properties comprising Hidalgo County's pauper cemetery located on Schunior Street in Edinburg, Texas;
2) the properties located between the County's New Admininstrator, Adult Probation & (if necessary) the Rudy de la Vina Juvenile Detention Facility and shown to be owned under Bliss-Gayken-Moore and Donald Gayken in order to acquire sufficient data to establish the existance and location of any utility easements that would access the County-owned facilities including surveys to establish the best routes for an easement to trench and lay fiber optic line/cable as requested and recommended by the IT Department;
B. Presentation of Hidalgo County's approved "pool" of surveyors for the purpose of selecting at least three (3) firms for evaluation (and ranking by CC) in connection with the following projects:
1) the need of a survey to determine the boundaries of Hidalgo County's pauper cemetery located adjacent to Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery(privately owned) & Brushwood Cemetery (city owned) on Schunior Street in Edinburg, Texas in order to properly identify the County's Pauper Cemetery boundaries to commence the cleaning project (scheduled to commence in January of 2008) through the Hidalgo County Adult Probation Community Service Restitution program;
