Requesting authorization to extend fiscal year agreement with Mujeres Unidas/Women Together- ESG Program Yr 19 - (2006) for a period of one (1) month ending January 31, 2008.  Their original agreement ends on December 31, 2007.
 
E.
The Urban County Program is requesting approval of the final negotiated Materials Testing Services contract with L&G Engineering Laboratory , in the amount of $1,771.00 utilizing Year 20 (2007) Urban County Program Sidewalk funds in the City of Weslaco as previously authorized for negotiations by Commissioner's Court on 8-28-2007.
 
F.
The Urban County Program is requesting approval of the best and final negotiated contract with Noe Garza Engineers (the highest ranked firm) in the amount of $44,000.00 for professional engineering services in connection with the City of Elsa Water / Sewer Improvements Project utilizing Year 18 (2005) funds.
 
G.
1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for professional engineering services in connection with Hidalgo County Urban County Program from Program Year 20 (2007) for a Planning Services Project in the Precinct No. 1 area.

2. Presentation of the scoring grid (of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County's approved "pool" as graded and evaluated by Precinct No. 1) for the purposes of ranking by CC in connection with an Urban County Program Planning Services project in the Precinct No. 1 area.

3. Authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of _____________________ for the provision of engineering services for a Pct. 1 Planning Services project.

The Urban County Program requests approval of Subrecipient Agreement with the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley (Public Services - General)  in the amount of $30,795.00 for the Urban County Program Year 19 (2006) & 20 (2007).

City of Hidalgo is requesting authority to purchase a Brush Truck through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with TASB (BuyBoard) awarded vendor Siddons Fire Apparatus in the amount not to exceed $69,000.00, which includes delivery and co-op fees.
