NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Urban County - Diana Serna:
 
A.
1. Hold Public Hearing to consider public comments on a proposed budget and program amendment for Pct. #4 utilizing Urban County funds from Program Years 18 (2005) & Year 19 (2006).  The amendment will create a Rehab Single Unit Residential line item in FY 18 (2005) and Increase the Street Improvements line item in FY 19 (2006).

2. Consideration and Approval of an amendment to the Urban County Pct. #4 Year 18 (2005) & Year 19 (2006) CDBG workplan.
 
B.
Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 is requesting approval to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Donna for the contribution of CDBG funds to the Altas Palmas Park utilizing Urban County Funding Year 19 (2006).
 
C.
Approval to award the sole bid submitted by Ferrera Fire Apparatus, Inc. for selected items in the amount of $31,256.00 for the Elsa Fire Department utilizing Urban County Pct. 1 Fire Station Equipment from Year 20 (2007).

Approval of proclamation proclaiming the week of February 10-16, 2008 as FCCLA Week in Hidalgo County.

Requesting authority to exercise the sixty (60) day grace period extension with Pavement Markings, Inc. in connection with the current contract# E-07-080-02-06-"Striping of County Roads" for Hidalgo County while procurement process is completed. Expiring 04/06/08 or upon new award of bid (which ever comes first).

Presentation by project architects ROFA of bids received  with recommedations for award in connection with Hidalgo County's project for the "Construction of Headstart Central Kitchen" to lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications  (Bid No. 200-159C-12-12-MSS)

Presentation for discussion, consideration, acceptance and approval to relocate Hidalgo County Court at Law #6 (currently housed in Annex #1- northside of Courthouse grounds) to second floor courtroom at the Courthouse currently housing IV-D (Master) Court #1 effective upon the retirement (2-29-08) of the Hon.  J. M Ramirez, Associate Justice, Fifth Administrative Judicial Region.
