The Urban County Program, is requesting cancellation of the negotiated contract with L&G Engineering Laboratory in the amount of $6,408.05, a balance on Purchase Order # 7287 approved and issued on January 9, 2008, in connection with City of Weslaco Waterline Improvements project utilizing Years 17 (2004) funds.

1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for professional testing services in connection with Hidalgo County Urban County Program from Program Year 19 (2006) for a Sewer Improvements Project in the City of Weslaco.
