NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

A. Request approval of payment of Invoices to L & G Engineering for professional engineering services in relation to the following DHS Levee Segments:
1. DHS Segment 0-6B, Invoice No. 8003
2. DHS Segment 0-6C, Invoice No. 8002
3. DHS Segment 0-7, Invoice No. 8000
B. Request approval to process a manual check to L & G Engineering pending approval from County Auditor and pending the electronic transfer of funds from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
C. Request approval of Work Authorization No. 17 "On Call Services" to provide engineering services on an hourly, or lump sum, basis for the Hidalgo County Drainage District #1.

B. Request approval to process a manual check to L & G Engineering pending approval from County Auditor and pending the electronic transfer of funds from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

A. Requesting approval to accept bid and award contract to the most qualified bidder meeting all requirements and specifications for Bid No: 08-012-06-30 "Main Floodway Levee Improvements Project which coincides with DHS Segment 0-8". Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrent.
B. Requesting approval to accept bid and award contract to the most qualified bidder meeting all requirements and specifications for Bid No.: 08-013-07-01"Levee Improvements Project which coincides with DHS Segment 0-9 Phase I". Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrent.
C. Requesting approval to accept bid and award contract to the most qualified bidder meeting all requirements and specifications for Bid No: 08-014-07-01 "Progreso River Levee Improvements Project which coincides with DHS Segment 0-10". Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrent.
D. Requesting approval to exercise the sixty (60) day grace period of term for "Gasoline / On and Off Highway Diesel". So as to have no lapse in service while bid process is on going.
E. Requesting approval to advertise for "Gasoline/On and Off Highway Diesel".
