NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Presentation for discussion, consideration and approval to enter into an Interlocal Agreement between Hidalgo County Drainage District #1 and Hidalgo County in connection with agreed upon accounting procedures/services through the DD#1's engaged professional firm

Requesting approval to accept bid and award contract to the most qualified bidder meeting all requirements and specifications for Bid No: 08-016-07-25 "Hidalgo Protective Levee Improvements Project which coincides with DHS Segment 0-6A". Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrent and funding.
B. Requesting approval to accept bid and award contract to the most qualified bidder meeting all requirements and specifications for Bid No: 08-017-07-28 " Levee Improvements Project which coincides with DHS Segment 0-6B&C". Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrent and funding.
C. Requesting approval to accept bid and award contract to the most qualified bidder meeting all requirements and specifications for Bid No: 08-018-08-08 " Progreso River Levee Improvements Project which coincides with DHS Segment 0-9Phase II". Subject to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concurrent and funding.

A. Discussion and action regarding HCDD1 MS4 Stormwater Management Plan, regional impacts, and requirements by Texas Commission on Enviornmental Quality (TCEQ) as it relates to public notice and approval to proceed with necessary advertisments.

A. Request approval of Payment Request No. 2 to Ballenger Construction Company for the Construction of the Common Levee/Anzalduas Dike Improvements, Hidalgo Loop Levee to Anzalduas Dam Project.
B. Request approval of Payment Request No. 3 to Ballenger Construction Company for the Construction of the Mission Levee Improvement Project, Banker Weir to Inspiration Rd.
C. Request approval to process manual checks for the above mentioned projects to Ballenger Construction Company pending completion of auditing process.
D. Request approval of Budget Amendment from the District's 2008 Bond Series, Fund 132 for continuation of the County Levee Rehabilitation projects. No budgetary impact.
E. Request approval of payment of Invoices to L & G Engineering for professional engineering services in relation to the following DHS Levee Segments:
1. DHS Segment 0-6A, Invoice No. 8074
2. DHS Segment 0-6B, Invoice No. 8077
3. DHS Segment 0-6C, Invoice No. 8076
F. Request approval to process manual check to L & G Engineering pending approval from County Auditor and pending the electronic transfer of funds from Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
