NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Public Hearing to discuss Proposed 2008 Tax Rate Increase.

A. Request approval to rescind court action on Item 3 A from August 1, 2008 related to change orders from DHS segment 0-7.
B. Request approval of Change Order Nos. 1, 2, and 3 on the Contract with SER Construction Partners, LTD for the Construction of Levee DHS Segment 0-7.
C. Discussion, consideration and action on implementing the Authorized Clearing House (ACH) Origination Application and Agreement with First National Bank for the electronic fund transfer (EFT) of accounts payable payments.
D. Discussion, Consideration and Action on updating the ACH Origination Application with First National Bank for the for payroll direct deposits.
