B.
The Urban County Program is requesting authority to purchase a Fire Truck (Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., Model RP1003 Pumper mounted on an Intruder II Chassis with equipment through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with TASB (BuyBoard) awarded vendor Hall Buick Pontiac GMC in the amount not to exceed $257,000.00, which includes delivery, pre-payment discount and buyboard fees.
 
C.
1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for Professional Engineering services in connection with Hidalgo County-Urban County Program Year 19 (2007) for geotechnical testing in Precinct No. 4.;
2. Presentation of the scoring grid (of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County's approved "pool" as graded and evaluated by UCP Home Staff) for the purposes of ranking by Commissioner's Court in connection with an Urban County Program Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation project for geotechnical testing in Precinct No. 4.;

This option will be done through a special minute submitted by the local TXDOT District office to be presented to their Commission. The Project substitution will not increase or decrease the dollar amount appropriated to Hidalgo County.

     C)   action as to the entering into interlocal agreements with local jurisdictions and/or DPS for the placement of county-owned intoxilizer equipment and use of said equipment;

A.  Inspect both elevators  and re-certify both elevators for passenger use in an amount not to exceed $_________and to inlcude payment of previous fines for years: 1996, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 with an estimated cost of $80,000.00.
B. Inspect both elevators and convert to material lifts (freight purposes only-no passengers) in an amount not to exceed $_____________ and have them inspected by a State Inspector quickly and thus eliminating the imposition of (all) fines  (as recommended by State Chief Inspector)

1. Approval to pay the Fifth Administrative Judicial Region of Texas for the 2009 Assessment for Hidalgo County in the amount of $83,907.00 with authority for County Treasurer to issue check after review, audit, and processing procedures are completed by the County Auditor.
2. Approval of 2008 interdepartmental transfer from County Wide Administration - Contingency to 5th Administrative Judicial Region (1100) in the amount of $75,835.00 to fund payment for the 2009 Assessment for Hidalgo County as stated above.
