NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

A. Discussion and Action to adopt a 4% flat rate Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) to Hidalgo County Drainage District Retirees in 2009.

Approval of Budget Amendments to reallocate funding of DHS Segments by the additional amount received from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cooperative Agreement awarded on November 4, 2008. Funding per segment is in accordance with DHS's Amended Agreement Schedule, District In-Kind and Contractual Services.

Approval of Change Order #2 for an extention of time on McColl Mission Inlet Project. Contractor G O Excavating & Construction
