NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. The Urban County Program is requesting approval and award of contract to D.M. Roth in the amount of $82,081.00 for the Street Improvements project in the City of Edcouch utilizing Year 20 & 21 (2007 & 2008) funds.
 
B.
Hidalgo County Precinct No. 3 for the City of Palmview is requesting approval to amend the professional service contract to Dannenbaum Engineering Company.  The original amount of the contract for $19,745.82 will increase in the amount of $6,149.67 for additional services to the Park Drive-Access Road project utilizing recaptured Year 20 (2007) Precinct 3 Street Improvement funds.
 
C.
The City of Alton is requesting authorization to cancel the purchase order with Ferrera Fire Apparatus, Inc. in the amount of $9,249.00 for the purchase of fire protective equipment and gear for the City of Alton Fire Department.  Urban County Program Year 19 (2006) Fire Station/Equipment funds were utilized.

TX. Agri-Life Extension Services-Brad Cowan:
 
A.
Requesting approval to pay the Annual Membership Dues for the Texas AgriLife Extension Service Employees for calendar year January thru December 2009, in the amount of $1,715.00 with authority for County Treasurer to issue checks after review, audit, and processing procedures are completed by the County Auditor.
