NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Approval of Budget Amendment for Capital Project Funds 131 and 132, the 2007 and 2008 Bond Series. This amendment is needed for Accounting purposes and will Transfer current Budgets for the Master Drainage Phase II projects within the two issuances and allow for complete spending of the first Bond Series. There is no budgetary impact on this amendment.

A. Request approval to Rescind court action on November 18, 2008 Item 6.L. on Pay Request #3 to Williams Brothers Construction Company, Inc.
B. Request approval of Payment Request No. 3 to Williams Brothers Construction Company, Inc. for the Construction of Levee DHS Segment 0-10 (2.33 miles).
C. Request approval to process manual check to Williams Brothers Construction Company, Inc. pending approval from County Auditor and pending the electronic transfer of funds from Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
D. Request approval of clarification of Change Order No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 for DHS Levee Segment 0-9 Phase I; Contractor Williams Brothers Construction Company, Inc. Clarification is on the supporting documentation that was provided with change orders.
