NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

A. Requesting approval of "Pool" of pre-qualified firms submitting Statements of Qualifications for ranking on an "As Needed Basis" per project by the Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 for projects requiring said services as set forth in the requirements stated int he Districts Request for Qualifications packet for the following Professional Services:
1. "Engineering Services" RFQ No. 09-001-01-30
2. "Real Estate Appraisers & Surveyors" RFQ No. 09-002-01-30
B. Requesting approval to purchase the following through the District's membership with BuyBoard contract # 281-07
1. Five (5) 2009 Pick Up Trucks
C. Requesting approval to purchase (2) two Laptop Computer through the District's membership with Texas DIR Contract # SDD-531.
1. "Engineering Services" RFQ No. 09-001-01-30
2. "Real Estate Appraisers & Surveyors" RFQ No. 09-002-01-30
B. Requesting approval to purchase the following through the District's membership with BuyBoard contract # 281-07
1. Five (5) 2009 Pick Up Trucks
C. Requesting approval to purchase (2) two Laptop Computer through the District's membership with Texas DIR Contract # SDD-531.

Requesting approval of budget amendment in the amount of $689,626.00 for the lease/purchase of (2)Two Volvo EC460CL Excavators with Bancorsouth Equipment Finance.
**This amendment will have no budgetary impact**

Request approval of Supplemental No. 1 to Work Authorization No. 32, No. 33 and No. 34 to L&G Engineering Laboratory, LLC for Geo-technical and Construction Material Testing as it relates to USIBWC/DHS Segment 0-4A, DHS Segment 0-4C and DHS Segment 0-9 PH II, respectively.
