NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

A. Report from Commissioners Court's assigned "committee" on the negotiations conducted with the applicant, First National Bank, Edinburg, Texas; if, applicable:

Approval of the final negotiated Hidalgo County Depository Bank, Remittance Processing (Lockbox), and, if applicable, Trust Services and, Related Agreements with the effective date upon expiration of current agreement and expiring on Commissioners Court's May term of ______; or, in the alternative,
C. Recommendation to cease negotiations with the First National Bank, Edinburg, Texas and re-advertise pursuant to Chapter 116, Texas Local Government Code, for the selection of a County Depository Bank.
B. Requesting approval of "Expansion of Pool" of pre-qualified firms submitting Statements of Qualifications for ranking on an " As Needed Basis" per project by the Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 for projects requiring said services as set forth in the requirements stated in the Districts Request for Qualifications packet for the following Professional Services:

C. Request approval of Payment Request No. 5 to Zachry Construction Corporation for the Construction of DHS Levee Segment 0-8 (3.31 miles).
D. Request approval of Payment Request No. 7 to Williams Brothers Construction Company, Inc. for the Construciton of DHS Levee Segment 0-9 PH I (2.12 miles).

H. Request approval to process manual checks to Ballenger Construction Company and Longhorn Excavators, Inc. for the above mentioned projects pending completion of the audit process.
I. Request approval to process payment of Invoices to Dannenbaum Engineering for professional engineering services in relation to the following DHS Segments:

J. Request approval to process manual checks to Dannenbaum Engineering pending approval from County Auditor and pending the electronic transfer of funds from Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
