The Urban County Program is requesting approval and award of contract to H2O Construction Services, Inc. in the amount of $95,830.00 for the Water/Sewer Improvements in the City of Weslaco, utilizing Year 21 (2008) funds. The project consists of the installation of upgraded sewer lines and street resurfacing at Los Toritos Street and Hidalgo Street in Weslaco, Texas.

Requesting authorization to deviate from the Hidalgo County Citizens Participation Plan as presented by waivers provided by HUD for the preparation of a Substantial Amendment for the Consolidation Plan 2008 Action Plan for the following applications:

Presentation of the scoring grid (of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County's approved "pool" as graded and evaluated by Precinct No. 4, Urban County Program and Hidalgo County Purchasing Department for the purposes of ranking by CC in connection with an Urban County Program Street Improvements (Solar Light) Project in the Hidalgo County Precinct No. 4 area.
