NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Urban County - Diana Serna:
A.
Requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of La Joya utilizing Urban County Program funding from Years 17 & 18 (2004 and 2005). The City of La Joya will appropriate funds in the amount of $20,000.00 for Drainage Improvements, create a new line for Health Services in the amount of $7,000.00 and increase funds to Street Improvements in the amount of 42,500.00. Approval will also increase funding for Park Facility by 120,000.00

1) Hold Public Hearing to consider public comments on proposed amendment to Year 19 (2006) workplan for the City of La Villa forfeited CDBG funds as administered by Hidalgo County Precinct #1.

The Urban County Program is requesting authorization for the County Judge to sign the Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds and the Request for Release of Funds and Certification for the 2005 HOME Funds for Proyecto Azteca, a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) in the amount of $636,000.

The Urban County Program is requesting authorization for the County Judge to sign the Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds and the Request for Release of Funds and Certification for the 2005 HOME Funds for the Community Development Corporation of South Texas, Inc. (CDCST, Inc.), a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) in the amount of $400,000.
F.
The Urban County Program is requesting authorization for the County Judge to sign the Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds and the Request for Release of Funds and Certification for the 2006-HOME Funds for South Texas Economic Development Corporation, Inc. (STEDC, Inc.), a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) in the amount of $300,000.

Hidalgo County Precinct #1 requests approval to reject all bids submitted and re-advertise for bids for the City of Edcouch Water/Sewer Improvements UCP YR18 (2005) recaptured funds.

Acknowledgement of receipt of a letter of protest to the inclusion of any real property owned by the King Ranch, Inc. on any Hidalgo County road map, specifically the private roadway known as Tordillo Lane, which was submitted by Michael James Krueger, Attorney for the King Ranch, Inc. as per subsection (b) of Article 258.002 of the Texas Transportation Code
2. Acknowledgement of receipt of a letter of protest to the inclusion of any real property owned by Four Owls Family Partners, Ltd.
