Rick Alvarez came before the Court to inform them of various Bills that are before the Legislature and may effect Hidalgo County. The Bills discussed are:

-HB 2423 - Creation of Regional Transit Authtority
-HB 369 - Transportation of patients with a mental illness
-SB 1426 - Appointment of a County Auditor
-SB 170 - Building Code Standards for New Residential construction
-HB 827 - Agreement with DPS and County Clerk for renewal of duplicate Drivers License, etc.
-HB 1515 - DPS & Tax Office
-SB 969 - Electronic Admisability of certain statements made by an accused due to Interrogations.
