NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:
The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Drainage District #1 Board has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Board Commissioner, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The remaining items will be adopted by one vote.
All Board Members were counted present for the exception of Commissioner Joe M. Flores.
No Open Forum items.
The Board Members moved to approve the Consent Agenda.
On motion by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 1 A.C. CUELLAR, JR., seconded by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 2 HECTOR PALACIOS, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.

Godfrey Garza requested authorization from the Board to proceed on a counter-offer to Ware Road LTD for a property on 17 1/2 with an appraised value of $156,389.
On motion by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 4 JOSEPH PALACIOS, seconded by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 1 A.C. CUELLAR, JR., the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.

Judge Garcia requested a motion to authorize him, by letter dated 08/19/2013, as County Judge on behalf of the Hidalgo County Drainage District #1 Board to respond to the IBWC by letter dated 12/19/2012.
On motion by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 1 A.C. CUELLAR, JR., seconded by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 4 JOSEPH PALACIOS, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 4 - 0 - Unanimously
On motion by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 4 JOSEPH PALACIOS, seconded by COMMISSIONER, PCT. 2 HECTOR PALACIOS, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
