NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Update on the Delta Watershed Project.
Mr. Godfrey Garza briefed the Board on several updates regarding the project including analysis on the water tables, water quality samples on the drain ditch and the water, working on a collaboration with Pan Am, and they have begun the analysis on the areas of land that can be used to devolop the project, environmental issues have been cleared, and other general updates.

Presentation of the Statements of Qualifications received for "RFQ No: HCDD1-14-140-06-04-vyg- with title of: "Professional Legal Services-Review of Agreement between HCDD#1 & Integ Corporation" for Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 with the request to designate/appoint and approve a Committee to score, grade & evaluate the SOQs as the RFQ procurement packet details/dictates in order to proceed with the next step of the selection process.
The Board designated Yolanda Chapa for the County Judges office, Raul Lozano for Precinct 1, Raul Silguero for Precinct 2, and Marcos Lopez for Precinct 4. Dr. Mona Parras was selected as the designee for Precinct 3 as confirmed by the Purchasing department via email on June 19, 2014.
