NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

All members of the Court were counted present for the exception of Commissioner Eduardo "Eddie" Cantu.

1. Approval of Interlocal Agreement by and among City of Edinburg, Hidalgo County, and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Four, City of Edinburg, allowing for Hidalgo County to participate in the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone
2. Appointment of one (1) board member to represent the County of Hidalgo on the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Four, City of Edinburg Board of Directors
Bobby Villarreal, Judge's Office, recommended no action be taken on these Items due to delays regarding the bond market, but stated that a week delay will not affect anything negatively. Steve Crain, Legal Counsel, informed the Court that some attorneys who are also working on this project have failed to communicate with them and therefore, recommends no action at this time.
NO ACTION taken on Items 2.A.1 and 2.A.2.
2. Appointment of one (1) board member to represent the County of Hidalgo on the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Four, City of Edinburg Board of Directors

On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 3, JOE M. FLORES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval to appoint County Judge Ramon Garcia and Commissioner Precinct 4 Joseph Palacios.
Vote: 4 - 0 - Unanimously
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 3, JOE M. FLORES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval to appoint County Judge Ramon Garcia and Commissioner Precinct 4 Joseph Palacios.
