NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Judge Garcia led the courtroom in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Virginia Townsend led everyone in Prayer.

Open Forum

Virginia Townsend addressed her concerns in relation to county salaries.

Maria De la Luz Salazar expressed her concerns in regards to the incomplete work done on Sioux Road, she mentioned that the roads are a mess.

Fern McClaugherty came before the court to manifest her discontent with the various salary ranges within the county and the car allowance limit.

Commissioner Cuellar stepped away from the meeting.

Opal Billman spoke about the unfair division of her community property, she mentioned that her property was taken away by unrealistic corporations.

Commissioner Cuellar joined the meeting.

Norma Aldape with LUPE organization came to court in representation of many others who implore to be heard and be aided with the passing of DACA and DAPA.

Tiffany Solis representing on behalf of Linebarger Goggan Blair and Sampson, LLP announced the fourth and final presentation in regards to the tax delinquent issue. The event will be held at the Edinburg City Council Chamber, on October 21, 2015 at 5:30p.m.

Martha Salazar publicized the new TV series 'Crazy Ex-girlfriend' were Gabrielle Ruiz a Edinburg, Texas native partake.

Mr. Guerra mentioned that all appropriate forms will be attached and signed by the appropriate departments.

Rosie Martinez clarified the Redistribution of Longevity Pay under the DA's Office, the action should be approval to create the slot# A120 to allocate longevity pay for slot# 135 and the HB65. Reason being that this particular employee was change to that slot number and was previously earning the longevity pay in slot# 91.
