BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this 12th day of November A.D., 2015, there was begun and held a SPECIAL MEETING of the Honorable Commissioners’ Court of Hidalgo County, Texas, wherein the following members thereof were present, to-wit:

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Canvassing for Constitutional Election November 3, 2015 as per Election Code Section 67.004
Elections Administrator, Yvonne Ramon presented to the court the Canvassing for the Constitutional Election for November 3, 2015.
Ms. Ramon offered the total votes cast for PROPOSITION #1
255 precincts were counted together with 11, 931 votes cast in favor of, with an 81.87% and against were 2,642 with 18.13%. Total votes cast were 14,573 and there were 1,685 under votes.

As per Election Code Section 67.004 Ms. Ramon requested to have these unofficial votes approved by the court.
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, A.C. CUELLAR, JR., seconded by Judge Ramon Garcia, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 2 - 0 - Unanimously
Ms. Ramon stated that the Elections Department is the one in charge of the recount. However the city secretary is the one that accepts the petition.
