NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

CONSENT AGENDA
The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Drainage District #1 Board has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Board Member, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The remaining items will be adopted by one vote.
On motion by BOARD MEMBER PCT. 1, A.C. CUELLAR, JR., seconded by BOARD MEMBER PCT. 2, EDUARDO “EDDIE” CANTU, the Board made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 3 - 0 – Unanimously
Arteche Mexico Turnkey Solutions has contracted Power Line Services to install 6 temporary guide wires at 900 South Goodwin Rd in Mission, TX along HCDD1 Bates Lateral.
VDC La Palmilla, LP has contracted Cornett Construction Co., to install a 1-12" sanitary sewer line that will cross a 200' HCDD#1 Drainage Easement (PSJA Lateral) on the south side of Alberta Rd. in the NW lot 16, Block 1, John Closner Subdivision.
VDC La Palmilla, LP has contracted Cornett Construction Co. to install a 1-8" water line that will cross a 200' HCDD#1 Drainage Easement (PSJA Lateral) on the south side of Alberta Rd. in the NW lot 16, Block 1 John Closner Subdivision.
Edgar Delgadillo has contracted Vica Enterprises, LP to install a 1-8" PVC sanitary sewer line/ with 1-16" steel casing going under HCDD1 North Main Drain along mile 17 1/2 between Aruba Dr. and Snapper Dr.

Engineering Firm: L&G Consulting Engineers
A. Invoice No. 11325934 in the amount of $6,890.14 from L&G Consulting Engineers related to Work Authorization No. 10-R.O.W. Acquisition Services for La Joya Watershed Project.
Budget: 370-Control Structures
A. Requesting approval to rescind action taken on September 27, 2016, Agenda Item No. 56567 (A) Invoice No. 20162838 in the amount of $6,153.15 from Tedsi Infrastructure Group related to Work Authorization No. 4A-Monte Cristo Drain Control Structure.
