NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners' Court will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Commissioners' Court has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Court Commissioner, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The remaining items will be adopted by one vote.
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 3, JOE M. FLORES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval of the consent agenda with the exception of Item.11.B. to be pulled for further discussion.

Approval of 2017 interdepartmental transfer from Co. Wide Adm-Contingency to Pct 4 Restitution-1124 M Rd in the amount of $12,238.71 to fund Change Order #1 with Rigney Construction & Development, LLC for building renovations to "M" Road Building.
Approval of 2017 interdepartmental transfer from CO 2014-Pct 2 to CO 2014 Pct 2 LJ Drain Prj in the amount of $128,913.35.

Martha Salazar disclosed that the concern was that HB 1295 was not in yet. They have sent notices to the vendor, she asked the court to approve the item subject to compliance to HB 1295 and notified they will not take action to execute the renewal prior to receiving the compliance to HB 1295.
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 2, EDUARDO “EDDIE” CANTU, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.

Acceptance and approval for Invoice# Oct. 16-13 in the amount of $17,494.55 as submitted by LeFevre Engineering for professional engineering services provided under Contract C-16-256-07-26 for FEMA Project (Mile 8 North).
