NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

A. FOR ANY CONTRACT(S) AWARDED AND APPROVED UNDER THIS AGENDA, EXECUTED COPIES OF THE CONTRACT(S) WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE COUNTY INTRA-NET WEBSITE AND WILL BE FORWARDED VIA E-MAIL, FAX OR HAND DELIVERED TO HIDALGO COUNTY AUDITOR'S OFFICE.
B. ANY AND ALL REQUESTS FOR PAYMENT(S) APPROVED WILL BE SUBJECT TO COUNTY AUDITORS PROCESSING PROCEDURES INCLUDING AUTHORITY FOR COUNTY TREASURER TO ISSUE PAYMENT(S)/CHECK(S).

Sheriff's Office:
1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Texas Local Government Code, 262.024(a)(7)(A) 'items for which competition is precluded because of the existence of patents, copyrights, secret processes, or monopolies;'
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, DAVID FUENTES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 4 - 0 - Unanimously
2. Approval to exempt Tyler Technologies, Inc. for all existing software, maintenance and support services including upgrades and additional features necessary to maintain the current products used by Hidalgo County with such exemption to remain in effect until no longer needed or rescinded by Commissioners Court;
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, DAVID FUENTES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 4 - 0 - Unanimously
3. Authority for Hidalgo County Sheriff Office to purchase a "feature" from Tyler Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $7,990.00 necessary to implement Wrist Band Modification/Commissary Enhancement for the Commissary through a Purchase Order and/or additional documentation if necessary;
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 2, EDUARDO “EDDIE” CANTU, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, DAVID FUENTES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 4 - 0 -Unanimously
