BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this 24th day of October A.D., 2017, there was begun and held a SPECIAL MEETING of the Honorable Commissioners’ Court of Hidalgo County, Texas, wherein the following members thereof were present, to-wit:

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Discussion on Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 projects, maintenance and operations:
A.) Pct. 1 - Milanos Road & Drainage Improvements
Partnership project with precinct 1, the district provided in-house engineering design and construction management. Laterals under the interlocal with the Irrigation District No.9 were also improved, the project has been fully completed.
Board Member Fuentes said that these improvements ceased water from sitting in the area during the recent rains
B.) Pct. 4 - Mile 17 1/2 Roadway & Drainage Improvements
The district partnered with precinct 4, Edinburg CISD and City of McAllen, to make interconnection from the current
17 1/2 roadway to the dead end at the Edinburg canal west all the way to Ware Road. Sesin reported that the city provided funding for road improvements, the district did all the drainage work and plan designs, and Edinburg CISD funded the construction of the crossing. The road is fully opened.
C.) Pct. 3 - Mile 3 & Abram Road RDF Project
One of the master plan projects identified in the Peñitas drainage study. The system has been applied and is going to be fully developed to accommodate the extension of Mile 3 as one of the projects precinct 3 is working on.

Correction: Should be for general Hidalgo Drainage District No.1 system projects.
