NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held at the Edinburg Council Chambers 415 W. University Drive, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

1) Janet Campos thanked member Joe Flores for assisting in the neighborhood clean up. The constituent also reminded the board about the necessity of public lighting in the colonias.
2) Lourdes Garcia resident of Buena Vida Subdivision thanked member Joe Flores for the clean up in performed in the neighborhood. Garcia stressed on the need for public lighting to protect the neighborhoods.
